Lady Tigers begin practice Sunday March 2, 2008 @ 1pm at Chaffey Junior College.
Team Xcel Tigers (Rancho) will start practice Sunday March 2, 2008 @ 3pm and Chaffey Junior College.

1) 17u Girls team will meet at 9:30 am at Denny's on Grand Ave.
2) The Team Xcel Tigers 17u Boys (Rancho Team) will meet Sunday 24th at 3 pm at Royal Pizza on SW corner of Baseline and Carnelian (next to Smart & Final).

It is mandatory that everyone show to discuss the car wash this weekend, Oct. 6th.

Team Xcel Tigers made their organizational debut this weekend in the Corona Santiago Fall League. Both contests were hard-fought and the Tigers came away with a 1-pt victory over Sierra League Champion Chino Hills High and a 2-pt victory over the Icemen. Team Xcel Tigers will face Martin Luther King and Colony High this weekend.

Dues are due on Friday 7th. Failure to have dues in, no later than Sunday, may affect League play on Sept 15.
All players MUST bring Laker Uniforms to practice Friday. Rich was very generous to you guys and we will not keep his property.

There will be practice on Friday (Aug. 31),
but NO practice this weekend, due to Holiday.
There will be no more Monday nite practice, we will practice on Sundays from 2-4 pm at Chaffey Jr. College beginning Sept. 9th.
Santiago League starts 9/15, 9/22 and 9/29 and we will play twice every Saturday.
Our CAR WASH Fundraiser will be held on 10/6. For more information, contact Teri Briscoe at 909-815-0057.
We will be in the Halloween Havoc Tournament 10/27 and 10/28.

Team Xcel Welcomes New Coach, Tony Blakley
Tony began coaching in 1991. Tony is a demanding and disciplined coach/personal trainer with a passion for basketball and helping student/athletes become the best player they can be physically and mentally as well as in the classroom. His most recent coaching stint was at Alta Loma High School as the head girl's varsity basketball coach. He is currently the Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant Coach at Etiwanda High School. He turned two doormat teams into reputable teams (Chaffey and Alta Loma) and placed numerous players at the collegiate level. Tony received the 1996 Inland Valley Girls Basketball Coach of the Year Award after guiding Chaffey High School who was 0-26 before he took over to the CIF playoffs the following year in his first year as a varsity head coach.
